Home Sweet Home.

Kalau bercakap pasal rumah aku punya seribu impian! Ingin ada yang cantik bagai istana, tapi kecil agar tidak penat aku menyapu dan mengemop.

Our process of purchasing a house was not a smooth one. Tapi apa yang berada di bawah bumbung bukan untuk dilambung, jadi kita telan saja kisah lama dan mulalah menabung.

Layout of our very first home!

We bought a single storey terrace house. It is due to complete next year in March. So we are expecting to move in to our new house maybe the day when we could get the key? There's a lot of renovation planning in mind, with no money on hand, empty bank accounts. Nevertheless, we will not stop dreaming for our very first home. The home where we could do a lot and a lot of ibadah. Insya Allah!

Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu ‘anhu mengabarkan dari Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, beliau bersabda:
لاَ تَجْعَلُوْا بُيُوْتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ، إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْفِرُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي تُقْرَأُ فِيْهِ سُوْرَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ “Janganlah kalian menjadikan rumah-rumah kalian sebagai kuburan. Sesungguhnya setan akan lari dari rumah yang di dalamnya dibacakan surah Al-Baqarah.”
(HR. Muslim no. 1821)

 

Rumah!

To own a house of my own is always my dream. No need big big house, small yet comfortable house is more than enough for me. When you have your own house, then you can drill holes anywhere you like, paint them in your fav colours, and most importantly, no hesitation when it comes in writing down your mailing address. Why is this important for me? Simply because, you don't have to bother to change your mailing address every time you move from one rented house to another rented house. You won't want your credit card statement to be at the wrong hand, do you?

So, because of this, we bought a house! Wheee to us! But it is still under construction. According to the agreement, it shall be completed by 2015, insya-Allah! Can't wait to move to our own new house!
